What sets Flint apart
-

Service first
Flint calls service its number one product and invests time up front to understand how you work before it quotes.
-

Under one roof
Concept and design, production, inventory and logistics all sit in one facility, so Flint controls the full scope of your project.
-

Prototypes and samples
Flint builds physical prototypes to check folds, diecuts and inserts before printing, and revises the design as needed.
-

Custom box design
An in-house team of structural and production designers develops your packaging and puts your signature on it.
-

Quality obsessed
A proprietary 18-step quality control program, adapted to your own quality measures.
-

Lot traceability
For food and beverage clients, lot traceability software tracks lots from production to point of sale, and a specific lot can be recalled if needed.
Stock and release program
A stock and release program works with a blanket purchase order. Flint ships the first release, manufactures the next release and holds it in inventory. It ships each new release when you order it and repeats until the blanket order is fulfilled.
Flint client Rob Howe of Royal Building Products says the combined run-to-order and ship-from-stock program has produced competitive pricing and reduced plant-floor inventory.
Just-in-time packaging and delivery
Just-in-time delivery ships goods as needed instead of all at once. Flint says this increases efficiency, saves overhead and frees up space at your facility, supported by its inventory control, logistics, warehousing and attention to detail.
Inventory management services
Flint reviews your inventory requirements and usage patterns to forecast future needs. A sales consultant can also perform a physical inventory at your premises.
Industries Flint serves
Diversity is part of what Flint calls its genuinely Canadian DNA. It serves clients across many industries and can offer packaging anonymously as a white label service.
